A Note on Toys…

Make sure they fit in your house.

Turns out none of our door frames are narrow enough for Sera’s Jennie-Jump-Up.

SO I bought Sera a new play pen this week and she loves it. As it turns out she actually really likes just rolling all over the floor:

This week’s new food of choice: Green Beans!

Someone will probably call Child Services for this one…Apparently, Ruby likes green beans too (especially when mixed with baby):

Follow-Up: California

So, our California trip was great. We got to see a lot of people, though we missed out on many others. Sera was able to meet her great-grandparents for the first time:

She got to meet her Great-Great-Aunt Dorothy:

She met her Uncle Tommy, even though she was asleep! She also met her “Aunt” April and her Great-Aunt Trisha:

Here she is with me and her grandparents, Pat & Val in the Tiger Bar in June Lake.

I was able to go snowboarding one day, which was really fun, but made me realize just how out of shape I am. I was lucky to have a chiropractor/massage appointment today to work out the kinks.

Grandma Val made a beautiful wooden rocking horse for Sera and Sera had a great time bouncing in her new Jennie-Jump-Up at Grandma Val and Grandpa Pat’s house.

Countdown to California: 2 Days

I am getting very excited and equally nervous about our upcoming trip.  I am freaking out about how to handle traveling alone with Sera.  In any case, I am very excited to not have the boatload of schoolwork to worry about that I am finishing up with right now.  Tomorrow night is my finance midterm and I’ve turned in the smaller of the two ridiculous papers that I’m assigned right now.  I’m still trying to get packed and make sure I remember everything.  It’s amazing how someone so small can have so much stuff!

Today, I had to take Sera to her 4 month check-up, complete with shots.  I always hate taking her to get her shots because she’s hurting and there’s nothing I can do for her.

Here’s mommy’s pretty little princess:

Laptop has officially died-ed.

So, after months of putting off trying to fix the laptop, it has been determined that if I spend about $400 on sending it to HP’s repair shop, I might have a fixed laptop. SO, I guess someday soon I’ll be in the market for a good netbook. Any suggestions/recommendations? Oh yeah…I want something…pink.  =P
